Ryan was born in the heartlands of Greece raised by Spartans, as he grew though he decided he didn't want to be a warrior and ran away from his home to become a shepherd. As he grew he found that he had a distinct bond with sheep and could communicate with them telepathically. This bond soon grew very strong, at times a little too strong though.

Ryan never had any formal teaching as a drummer, instead merely found a love in beating stretched sheepskin with sticks. Ryan soon became a nomad, he and his flock of sheep spent time in various regions of Europe until finding their way to eastern Russia where they crossed the freezing waters of the Bering Straight on a boat made members of Ryan's flock that had passed away.

By the time he found his way to New York all of the sheep had passed away and Ryan was alone and had no where to turn until he was picked up in a Isuzu Hombre by Sean and forced to join the band.

Ryan playes on a 9 piece DW kit and uses Sabian cymbals.
